【摘要】The global crisis has hit regions within Russia to variable degrees because of greatdifferences in regional economy patterns, which might have changed inter-regional disparitiesobserved at the aggregate national level. This paper focuses on two of them, related to popula-tion’s welfare, namely, inter-regional inequality in real incomes and integration of regionalgoods markets, and seeks an answer to the question of whether the global crisis has had apersistent effect on these. Results obtained suggest that the answer is generally negative.
